THE quality racing action continues this Saturday with multiple group one features and the bookmakers have been quick to release their best racing specials.
Both the Group 1 Doomben Cup and Group 1 Darley Goodwood have attracted massive support with punters throughout the week and there have already been some big bets placed on the more fancied runners.
The bookies know how important providing the best odds is to punters and Ladbrokes.com.au is streets above the rest when it comes to offering the best odds for the big Australian races.
This week it has picked out the Doomben Cup to offer an enhanced odds market and we suggest taking a bet with Ladbrokes if you’re going to place a wager in the Doomben feature.
With a max bet of $100, punters get great value with every runner and the odds are better than the competing bookmakers. Some of the great odds on offer include current favourite It’s Somewhat.
The Darren Beadman-trained Doncaster Mile winner is $4.20 with bookmakers, but Ladbrokes is offering $5 for the six-year-old which reunites with international jockey James Doyle.
There has also been heavy support for Articus, which opened around the $6 mark and was bet into $4.60, but don’t worry as punters betting with Ladbrokes will be able to secure the $6 originally available.
Some other runners include Star Exhibit ($13-$17), Amelie’s Star ($9.50-$12) and Vanbrugh ($20-$26).
Another bookmaker guaranteeing the best odds is Sportsbet.com.au, which is back with its Ascot best fixed odds special.
The Australian-based bookie is giving the best odds for every #1 runner at Ascot this Saturday and there are some great bets on the top weighted runners.
Lob City has been dunked in the betting after opening at $5 – with punters getting $3.70 with most bookmakers. Sportsbet will offer a better price than the likes of Ladbrokes, CrownBet and William Hill on every #1 runner at Ascot.
Sportsbet isn’t forgetting about the major meetings this Saturday. It’s offering a bonus bet special of 12 races, which includes the first four races at Doomben, Flemington and Morphettville.
Sportsbet will give up to $50 back in bonus bets if your runner finishes second or third in the first four races at all three venues and that’s great insurance to have early on in the meeting.
CrownBet.com.au is offering the same promotion, but isn’t including Morphettville. Punters will get a bonus bet of up to $50 in the first four races at Flemington and Doomben, which includes the Listed Chief De Beers Handicap at Doomben.
The even field has many winning chances including Hidden Pearl ($5.50 at CrownBet) and Prompt Return, but if your horse finishes second you don’t have to worry about losing your money. It’s a great promotion and bonus bets can be used later in the meeting.
If you prefer to place your racing bets with WilliamHill.com.au then it has a bonus bet deal for you.
The global bookmaker is giving a bonus bet (up to $50) on the first four races on Doomben Cup day if your horse finishes second or third. That goes along nicely with its Price Pump deal which has been well-received with punters.
With Price Pump, you can increase the odds of a fixed price win bet on a race of your choice. Price Pump is available once a day on all the three racing codes so punters can use it on thoroughbreds, harness or greyhound racing.
