Nine races make up Sunday afternoon’s card at the Sunshine Coast. There is perfect conditions for racing, with the track rated a Good 4, and the rail in the +5m for the entirety. Race 1 jumps at 12:05pm.
Boblee looks to map perfectly in the small field from the middle of the line and should lob just off the speed. Brad Stewart rode the four-year-old to victory last start and has retained the ride today which we are fond of. He is a winner of four from five over this track and distance, with his only other attempt being a second behind The Move. He should be too good.
Louis January should have nearly won last start at a big price at the Gold Coast when well supported, and now finds himself in a nice 1200m maiden. He drops back from 1400m but has had a three week freshen up which will suit. Brad Stewart takes the ride here as well, so we imagine he’ll get the best out of Louis January.
Les Ross and Tegan Harrison combine in the eighth race with four-year-old mare Concealed Dynamite. She comes off a fifth at the Gold Coast when she finished off very well from last, after running third here two starts back. She drops 5kg from her last start which will suit. In a small field, we expect her to be out the back and charging late.
