Race 1 – RS0MW (1000m)

Canzonet has trialed well leading into this event and looks a live-threat to deliver on debut. The Godolphin runner looks to be a hot prospect and we’re expecting an exciting colt to step out in the opener.

Race 1 tip: Canczonet to win ($3.70 at William Hill)

Race 2 – Benchmark 78 (1000m)

Limestone is a group-type which should resume with a win here. Last-start for the filly was a Group 1 fourth-placed finish in the Coolmore Stud, which, needless to say is several steps above this. Back Limestone with confidence.
Race 2 tip: Limestone to win ($1.90 at Neds)

Race 3 – Benchmark 78 (1200m)

Savaju’s form cannot be denied here. The horse had rounded out the first-four in two-straight races before taking out a race at this level against the females on February 2. Savaju is back against the blokes but the last three runs stack up.

Race 3 tip: Savaju to win ($4.80 at Sportsbet)

Race 4 – Ladbrokes 55 Second Challenge (955m)

Clipper has a stellar first-up record of one win and four placings from starts and looms as resuming winner here. The mare has a great record at the distance too, winning twice from three attempts.

Race 4 tip: Clipper to win ($3.20 at Sportsbet)

Race 5 – Benchmark 70 (1200m)

Miss Oklahoma is a ratings riser that has shown a great deal of ability in its two career runs. The horse was far from disgraced after a fourth placed debut at Moe and it took just one more run for the Mick Price runner to break the duck. Miss Oklahoma is a star of the future.

Race 5 tip: Miss Oklahoma to win ($4.80 at Neds)

Race 6 – Benchmark 70 (2040m)

Midas Man just keeps winning, much to the chagrin of the punters. The horse has delivered three-straight wins – the last of which was at $17 – and it will jump at another large price on Friday. The place is the right play for the white-hot four-year-old.

Race 6 tip: Midas Man to place ($3.60 at William Hill)

Race 7 – Essendon Torney Night Cup (2500m)

Fanatic was ordinary in its resumption at Caulfield on January 27, but a second-up win and two placings from five runs suggests to us a step-up in performance is expected. The Hayes, Hayes and Dabernig runner is a classy operator that has the ability to win this.

Race 7 tip: Fanatic to win ($11 at Crownbet)

Race 8 – Benchmark 70 (1200m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1181633_08]

Darren Weir should end the Moonee Valley card with a win as Knight Commander brings in terrific form. The horse has won two on the trot, including a race at this level last-start. The Master Of Design gelding gets a rise in weight but we’re backing it to notch up the hat-trick.

Race 8 tip: Knight Commander to win at Ladbrokes
