Race 1 – Class 3 Plate (1400m)

Last-start winner Mr Bellagio delivered a strong run at Doomben on January 26. The horse has been freshened since that two and eight part length victory and the drop in class from the city to the country will be hugely beneficial.

Race 1 tip: Mr Bellagio to win at William Hill

Race 2 – Maiden Plate (1650m)

Boltin’ Desire has rounded out the first-four in three-straight races and will return fresh after a let-up. The horse will carry only 54.5kg into this contest, and will be right in the mix in a hard-to-read field.

Race 2 tip: Boltin’ Desire to win at Ladbrokes

Race 3 – Maiden Handicap (1100m)

Behind The Thistle returned well from a break, finishing within two parts of a length of the winner at Warwick on February 17, despite getting inconvenienced. The horse strips fitter following that run and we believe it will be right in the mix here.

Race 3 tip: Behind The Thistle to win at Sportsbet

Race 4 – Maiden Plate (1200m)

Von Rosen has a number of factors in its favour heading into this race. It has a great gate, a claim and the early speed to hold the front. The filly rounded out the placings at the Gold Coast on February 10 and we believe it can go on with the job here.

Race 4 tip: Von Rosen to win at Sportsbet

Race 5 – Class 1 Handicap (1200m)

Fatz gets a great gate here to go back-to-back for the first time in its career. The four-year-old mare had been consistently good prior to its breakthrough win, placing in three-straight events. The daughter of Court Command is more than capable here.

Race 5 tip: Fatz to win at William Hill

Race 6 – Class 1 Handicap (1200m)

Rocky Gamble was only a nose away from winning on February 29 and it looms as a good winning hope here. The horse has a placing at both track and distance and it is expected to go forward and be highly competitive from the front.

Race 6 tip: Rocky Gamble to win at William Hill

Race 7 – Benchmark 58 (1650m)

Pendigo is third-up on Thursday, where it has previously placed twice at in the past. The horse placed second last-start at Ballina and it has great claims here.

Race 7 tip: Pendigo to win at Crownbet
