Warwick Farm tips & form for Wednesday, March 7
WARWICK Farm is hosting racing this Wednesday and we’re excited about what the day will bring.
There’s a full eight events to get through this hump day, so let’s get stuck into the tips and see if we can’t find some winners.

Race 1 – OSC (1100m)

Lilith is one of only two runners in the 13 horse field that has previously won. The filly comes into this race after a short layoff and will benefit from the inside gate given its early speed.

Race 2 – Benchmark 70 (1200m)

Hawkes runner Tarabai was only a short-head away last time out from going back-to-back in as many race starts. The horse closed rapidly in that sole second placed effort on February 14 and it should be fitter for that run.

Race 3 – Maiden Handicap (1600m)

Just Gorgeous only missed out by a length and a half last start after boxing on from the front and a fitter horse should present on Wednesday. The Fastnet Rock filly has experienced a short let-up, but we’re sure the Waterhouse and Bott camp would have put the galloper through its paces. We’re backing it in with the low weight and inside gate.

Race 4 – Benchmark 71 (1600m)

Danzie continues to find ways to get itself beaten this preparation. After winning upon resumption as a short-priced favourite at this track the horse has gone on to go down narrowly in two subsequent runs. If the Bjorn Baker gelding keeps out of trouble it will be winning this.

Race 5 – Benchmark 70 (1000m)

Godolphin runner Isaurian is expected to present well fresh. The horse was a brilliant winner on debut back on October 11 and it will be in the mix to make it two-from-two. The Exceed And Excel colt is one to watch.

Race 6 – Benchmark 75 (1400m)

Tip Top has been in great form this preparation, winning once and placing second two times. From a perfect gate and in this time of form just under the BM75 level it will be hard to hold out.

Race 7 – Benchmark 75 (1200m)

Oriental Runner continues to improve this preparation. After making a winning resumption on January 8, the horse has won a further two times and placed second, going down by just three parts of a length. It makes for great reading coming into this one.
Race 7 tip: Oriental Runner to win ($3.30 at Crownbet)
Race 8 – Benchmark 78 (1300m)

The place is the right play for Art Of Dance here. The Excellent Art mare has won two-straight races, including a Newcastle success at BM68 level by just under two lengths. This is a much tougher task, but the form cannot be denied, and the gate and 54kg weight helps.
