Trainer and owner to appeal bans
Trainer Con Karakatsanis and racehorse owner Angelis Vasili have lodged appeals against their four-month disqualifications for improper practice.
The two were outed on Monday after Racing NSW stewards found Vasili was in effect training five horses on his Warwick Farm property without a licence.
The horses were listed as being in the care of Karakatsanis.
Both were granted stays of proceedings.
