Shaune Ritchie confident Devise will run well in G2 Cal Isuzu Stakes
Shaune Ritchie is bullish about Devise’s prospects in the Group 2 Cal Isuzu Stakes (1600m) at Te Rapa on Saturday.
“She looks a good chance to get some more black type on the pedigree page,” the Cambridge trainer said. “As long as she races up to expectations and comes through well, the Zabeel Classic is on the cards.”
Devise will be ridden by Michael Coleman while Chris Johnson will be aboard her stablemate Let Her Rip.
“Chris Johnson is a good booking for Let Her Rip, we’ll be riding her cold as she’s best when she’s held up for the last crack at them,” Ritchie said.
