Search continues for missing trainer Bindi Cheers
THE New South Wales Police Force is seeking assistance to help find missing horse trainer Bindi Cheers, who vanished while driving home from the Hawkesbury meeting on Sunday.
Cheers was last seen around 2pm at the Hawkesbury Racecourse, but she failed to return home. Police believe Cheers could be on foot and she might have visited the Enterprise Drive petrol station before going missing.
Cheers was towing four horses behind her vehicle that were left at the petrol station in Beresfield in Newcastle’s north-west.
Cheers was at Hawkesbury during the day with stable star Phrases, but the six-year-old gelding was a late scratching. It is unknown as to why Cheers is missing and anyone with information is urged to contact Maitland Police via Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
