Chinese speaking punters will now be able to access NSW race form in their own language.
Racing NSW has enhanced its website to include the option to translate all content into Chinese with other languages being tested.
“In addition to Chinese, Racing NSW is currently implementing additional language translations onto the site to ensure that all persons of all languages can access racing information and news,” Racing NSW chief executive Peter V’landys said.
The additional languages being tested include Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese and French.
Racing NSW said the the multilingual site would be promoted to the local Chinese speaking community via Chinese language newspapers and websites, social media and also through Sky Racing.
The Japanese translation will also represent an opportunity for significant additional revenue for NSW thoroughbred industry during The Championships next autumn.
In 2017, Japanese punters will be able to see and bet on races at The Championships which feature Japanese runners.
