Jockey Tye Angland returns to scale after winning on Dynamited at Rosehill.

Godolphin has unveiled a pair of promising two-year-olds at Rosehill with Dynamited winning and Rheingau also providing positive signs for the future.

Dynamited ($4.20) overcame pre-race jitters in the #theraces Handicap (1100m) to follow early leader Secret Lady and pounce at the 100m.

The colt, who wasn’t comfortable in the barriers, won by a half-length from the Gary Portelli-trained filly Secret Lady ($4.20).

Rheingau ($5.50) was 2-3/4 lengths away third.

“He was a bit hot-headed in the stalls, that’s why he had two handlers,” said Godolphin stable representative Nacim Dilmi.

“He’s going to learn a lot from that race. He’ll be better behaved when he has his next start.”

Godolphin head trainer James Cummings has introduced 13 two-year-olds this season and Dynamited joins Elessedil as a first-up winner after the filly won her maiden at Canterbury last month.

“The boys at home have been confident a long time about him,” Dilmi said.

“He’s shown a lot of quality and it was very good to see it on race day.”

Dilmi was also impressed with Rheingau, who beat Dynamited in their only trial last month.

“We didn’t expect him to be as sharp as Dynamited but he ran very strong.”
