BJORN Baker-trained mare Positive Problems has delivered a remarkable form reversal at Rosehill after taking out the Bedford CA Handicap at a huge price.

After a finishing dead last first-up on November 11, the $57.50 outsider at Crownbet was taken to the front by Rory Hutchings and was never headed, offering a kick in the latter stages of the race that the swoopers in the field couldn’t match.

Miss Ballantine ($8.90 at Sportsbet) came from the pack late to claim second, finding its way into the money for the first time since exactly one year ago while Overstep rounded out the placings to return $3.50 at William Hill.

The win was a fifth success from 22 attempts, and the five-year-old took its record at Rosehill to two wins from three attempts.

It was a popular win for one particular punter, who found the five-year-old early in the piece and cashed in.

The win was also a notable one for the young hoop Hutchings, who took his riding record to 12 wins for the season, already half way to his entire tally for the 2016/17 season.

The 22-year-old said his wins has coincided with a great run of form for his stable.

“It’s all starting to come together,” Hutchings said.

“I’ve sort of got in with Thoroughbred Leasing. I’ve done a little bit of travelling for them and got into form.”
