Former Godolphin trainer John O’Shea has pleaded not guilty to two charges laid against him for failure to report a case of strangles in the stable and giving false evidence to stewards.

Henry Plumptre, ex managing director of the Australian arm of the global operation has pleaded guilty to not notifying stewards Polemic had been confirmed to have the infectious disease in August last year.

The inquiry into the case is being heard by Racing NSW stewards in Sydney on Friday.
