Omei Sword to miss Eskimo Prince
Race favourite Omei Sword will not run in the Eskimo Stakes at Randwick with trainer Chris Waller saying the filly has a slight muscle issue on the eve of the Group Three event.
Waller said on Friday his physiotherapist was working on her and he hoped she would be able to take her place in the Light Fingers Stakes on Saturday week.
The runner-up in the Golden Rose in the spring, Omei Sword is heading to the Coolmore Classic and is the second favourite for the $3 million Doncaster Mile.
