Moonee Valley form, odds and free tips, Saturday November 26

Stellar Collision
Stellar Collision is out to remain unbeaten at Moonee Valley in Saturday’s Montmorency FC Handicap

MOONEE Valley is one of the most exciting race tracks in Australia and it hosts a nine-race card this Saturday.

There are no major races scheduled with the Group 1 Winterbottom Stakes being run at Ascot, but the fields have held up nicely and we have form, updated odds and free tips available for every race.

Sign up with Sportsbet.com.au and if your runner finishes second or third in the first three races at Moonee Valley, Sportsbet will give up to $50 in bonus bets.

The day starts with a rating 70 handicap where the Chris Waller-trained Invincibella is dominating the market.

Sportsbet.com.au

Race 1 – Summer Membership R70 Handicap (1600m)

Chris Waller lines up Invincibella which finished third in the Lexus Hybrid at Flemington behind Jennifer Lynn. That form looks strong for this and punters have backed it strongly into $1.95 with the 2kg claim from Ben Thompson.

Moonlites Choice couldn’t continue its unbeaten run last start in the Twilight Glow, but it wasn’t disgraced. The Darren Weir-trained filly won its first three starts before running sixth last start and it will appreciate drawing barrier two. $4.60 is a fair price.

I Taut I Saw finished off strongly for third last start at Moonee Valley and that form should hold up well for this. The three-year-old was a maiden winner prior in a strong form race and it could run into the money at odds of $6.

Race 1 tip: Invincibella to win ($1.90) at Sportsbet.com.au

Race 2 – Whiteman Property Plate 2YO (1000m)

Tarima has been well supported in two career starts which included a second placing on debut. The Hayes/Dabernig-trained filly then finished fourth in the Maribyrnong Plate at Flemington, but it didn’t have the best of luck throughout the run. Chance here at $5.50 from the inside draw.

Cao Cao ran second in the Maribyrnong Plate at big odds of $41 and it didn’t have everything to suit. The Mick Price-trained colt was hampered at the start, but it produced a big finish to run Aspect to within 1.25 lengths. Should strip fitter for this and the bookmakers are respecting it at $4.

Bandipur is on debut for John O’Shea after winning a trial earlier this month and it has been specked in the market. The two-year-old colt is well bred by Commands and despite an awkward barrier draw, it looks a chance at $6.

Race 2 tip: Tarima to win ($5.50) at Bet365.com

Race 3 – MSC Signs R84 Handicap (1000m)

Estaminet is a six-time winner which scored an impressive win last start. The Freedman-trained mare ran a quick time of 57.88 when beating a quality field at Moonee Valley and it looks a top chance to go back-to-back. It gets 3kg off its back and it has been well supported at $4.40.

Miss Vista is a flashy mare which returned to winning form with a gutsy win last start. The George Osborne-trained four-year-old had no right to win last time out on this track, but it showed its class and punters were rewarded. It should carry plenty of tote support and we’re expecting the $3.60 to drop.

Darren Weir lines up Lyuba which showed great form in its first preparation. The four-year-old is a winner of three from five races with two of them coming over Deja Blue which was a subsequent winner. It has a dangerous weight of 52kg for this which should make for an interesting race.

Race 3 tip: Miss Vista to win ($3.60) at CrownBet.com.au

Race 4 – Art Series Hotel Group R70 (1200m)

Run Gypsy Run didn’t have the best of luck behind Rylea Lass last start and that run should be forgiven. The Mick Price-trained filly is having its third consecutive start at Moonee Valley and it has the ability to beat a field of this quality. Don’t rule out at $5.

Hellbound flashed home behind subsequent winner Speedeor last start at Flemington and it looms as a winning hope here. The fellow Price-trained runner was at long odds last start, but it has been nicely backed at $8 and it could run into the money.

Biased Witness is the current $3.40 favourite after opening at $3.50. The Robert Smerdon-trained colt ran second behind Speedeor last start which is a good form guide and despite a tricky draw, it should go close with the in-form Craig Williams in the saddle.

Race 4 tip: Run Gypsy Run to place ($1.95) at WilliamHill.com.au

Race 5 – Simpson Construction R78 Handicap (1600m)

Carlo Bugatti didn’t fire at Flemington last start, but it drops right back in grade where it will be more competitive. The Robert Hickmott-trained gelding won in rating 90 grade two starts back at Mornington and a repeat effort will take it close here.

Un de Sceaux ran well in the Sandown Stakes behind Redkirk Warrior and it should find this easier. The four-year-old was forced to make a mid-race move last start and finishing only 2.15 lengths behind the winner was credit to its toughness. It has drawn well and should feature in the finish.

Black Sheep is a six-time winner for Darren Weir which ran on nicely when clear last start. It flashed home for second behind Entre Nous on this track and it always runs well at Moonee Valley with four starts for two wins and one placing.

Race 5 tip: Un de Sceaux to win at CrownBet.com.au

Race 6 – Ranvet R84 Handicap (1600m)

Miles Of Krishnan won back-to-back races earlier this campaign before running fifth in the Summoned Stakes last start. The Greg Eurell-trained mare is having its first start at Moonee Valley, but it has drawn well and gets in with a light weight of 55kg. It’s currently on the second line of betting at $4.80.

Beluga Blue comes into this having won its last two starts in Adelaide. The four-year-old has been running well in lower graded races this season, but it was considered good enough to run in the Schweppes Oaks and it’s stepping up to its preferred distance. It opened at $6.50 and has drifted out to $7.

Payroll is the current $3.20 favourite after winning by seven lengths at Cranbourne last start. The Richard Laming-trained mare was fresh up after running third in the Rivette Final at Flemington and its form looks good enough to make it consecutive victories.

Race 6 tip: Payroll to win ($3.20) at Sportsbet.com.au

Race 7 – 1Print R90 Handicap (2040m)

Little White Cloud made an impression in its first Australian start by winning at Flemington last start. The French import had solid form overseas without being outstanding, but it was good enough to win last start and it will likely continue its good form. Staying steady in the betting at $5.

Boom Time boomed home to win at Flemington last start and the penny might have dropped. The Hayes/Dabernig-trained horse came into the stable after running ninth in the SA Derby and the step up in distance to 2040m should suit nicely. Each way hope at $7.

Chris Waller lines up Hipparchus which has been consistent this campaign. The five-year-old ran on well in between runners behind Little White Cloud last start and it has never finished out of the money in five starts at this distance. Looks a strong winning hope.

Race 7 tip: Little White Cloud to win ($5) at Bet365.com

Race 8 – Montmorency FC Handicap (1000m)

Sirbible holds the fastest time in the Inglis 55 Second Challenge and the extra 45 metres is unlikely to trouble it. The Russell Bell-trained gelding has now won three from four starts at Moonee Valley and it looks a strong chance once again. $5.50 is a fair price.

Stellar Collision has attracted plenty of support after opening at $4. It’s now into $3.60 and its statistics read very well. It is unbeaten in two starts fresh up, at this distance and on this track. That reads very well for this run and its weight of 52kg makes it tough to beat.

Beau Rada is a seven-win gelding which goes best on this track with six starts for two wins and three placings. The five-year-old was a winner at its last start at Moonee Valley where it paid $6.50 to win and punters are getting a much better quote of $14 for this.

Race 8 tip: Stellar Collision to win ($3.60) at CrownBet.com.au

Race 9 – William Hill R84 (1200m)

Chase The Horizon looked impressive winning back-to-back races earlier this preparation. The Henry Dwyer-trained horse had no luck when seventh at Moonee Valley last start and punters should forgive that effort. It goes best at this distance and the $4.20 is a nice price.

King’s Command has won four from 10 starts and it should find this easier than its last start. The son of Commands ran sixth at Flemington behind Supido and it will get all favours from the inside draw. $5.50 is on offer from the bookmakers.

Brockhoff has been a little disappointing this campaign after two starts for one placings, but it’s talented at best and punters are getting $8.50 for the win. Could sneak into the money with some luck.

Race 9 tip: Chase The Horizon to win ($4.20) at Sportsbet.com.au
