Hutchings cops seven-meeting suspension
Jockey Rory Hutchings has received a seven-meeting suspension for careless riding.
Hutchings was banned for his ride aboard the Clarry Conners-trained On The Spot who finished fourth in the Listed Heritage Stakes at Randwick on Saturday.
He will start his suspension on September 25 and is free resume riding in races on October 7.
Hutchings won the Sydney apprentices’ premiership last season with 33 winners, his last year as a junior rider.
