Deanne Panya outed for four meetings

Leading apprentice jockey Deanne Panya has been handed a four-meeting suspension for careless riding at Canterbury.

Stewards found Volante, Panya’s mount in the final race on Wednesday, shifted in near the 700m mark and caused eventual winner Super Maxi to be crowded in across the running of Sugar Bay Leonard who lost his position.
