Craig Williams claims fifth jockeys’ title
Jockey Craig Williams cannot be beaten in the Melbourne jockeys’ premiership after the win of Hursley at Caulfield.
Starting the day three wins clear of Dwayne Dunn at the final metropolitan meeting of the season, Hursley’s win put Williams four wins clear with four races remaining.
Williams had been in a battle with Dunn over the final six weeks of the season as he chased a fifth premiership with Dunn trying to claim his first title.
