Race 1 – Meadow Mist Plate (1000m)
Punters should always respect Lindsay Park-trained debutantes and Nasaayim fits the bill. The recent Wodonga trial winner has been well-backed at $3.20 and the filly by Redoute’s Choice should go well.
Race 1 tip: Nasaayim to win ($3.20) at Neds.com.au
Race 2 – Open Handicap (2000m)
Golden Mane scored a quality win over similar opposition last start and not much should change here. The Lindsay Park-trained stayer is on the way up, while most of its opposition are trending in the other direction.

Race 3 – Open Handicap (1700m)
Burrum’s Buzz has turned its form around this campaign with four wins from six starts. The five-year-old by Zariz is now a six-time winner from 15 starts and despite taking on harder opposition here, it should cope well.

Race 4 – BM70 Handicap (1400m)
Twitchy Frank was a quality winner at its first two starts before running second at Sandown last start. Punters should be expecting the Darren Weir-trained runner to bounce back and there is good odds on offer.

Race 5 – BM70 Handicap (1400m)
Salsamor is on the drift in the market ($3.70 – $4.20), but it still looms as a winning hope. The Busuttin/Young-trained colt has placed in three of its four starts this campaign and although it should have won by now, this looks its best chance.
Race 5 tip: Salsamor to win ($4.20) at CrownBet.com.au
Race 6 – BM70 Handicap (1100m)
Strykinglee is nearing another win this campaign after going close at its last few starts. The Matt Laurie-trained sprinter has the turn-of-foot needed to take this out and punters are getting a good price here.

Race 7 – Chester Manifold Stakes (1400m)
Dollar for Dollar has turned on the jets this campaign, winning its last four starts. The Tony McEvoy-trained five-year-old has turned winning form at Morphettville to winning form in Melbourne and it doesn’t look like slowing down.
Race 8 – Open Plate (1100m)
Ken’s Dream is a horse punters hate to back, but it looks tough to beat against this field. The Weir-trained sprinter isn’t the same horse it used to be, but the 54kg makes it a winning chance.
Race 8 tip: Ken’s Dream to win ($5) at Neds.com.au
Race 9 – BM84 Handicap (1400m)
Moonlover has been knocking on the door of late and this looks its best winning chance. The Laurie-trained runner has the ability to score a breakthrough win and it’s paying good each way odds in this.
