Bounding fetches $1.9 million at sale
New Zealand Group One winner Bounding has fetched $1.9 million at the National Broodmare Sale on the Gold Coast.
The five-year-old went to the bid of John Moynihan of American stud Stonestreet Farm at Wednesday’s first session of four days of selling mares at the Magic Millions complex.
Group winner Fontiton became the second million dollar lot, going to another American concern, SF Bloodstock, which has investments in Australian bloodstock in partnership with Newgate Farm.
