Chad Lever to remain in hospital
Jockey Chad Lever remains in hospital recovering from concussion and facial injuries suffered in a race fall at Scone.
Racing NSW’s Dr David Duckworth said Lever was expected to stay in the hospital until at least the weekend before possibly being transferred to Sydney early next week.
He said Lever had a bad gash near his eye sutured on Wednesday night and was on a lot of pain medication.
Lever fell from his mount near the home turn in a maiden race at Scone on Tuesday.
