The Astern gelding wasn’t asked for much when extending under Jean Van Overmeire, with the three-year-old having plenty left in the locker as he crossed the line in front. He maps to get a mid-field position with cover under Zac Lloyd, and with question marks amongst this field of lightly raced maidens, Afloat looks to be at juicy odds with horse racing bookmakers.
