A nine race card is set down for decision on Sunday afternoon when racing continues in country Victoria at Wangaratta. There looks to be plenty of country talent going around on Sunday, and with a bit of luck we can steer you into a couple of well priced winners. The track has come up as a Good 4 and with clear skies expected we’re set for a cracking day of racing in North East Victoria.
The first race at Wangaratta is set to jump at 1:20pm AEDT.
Fresh off a narrow defeat at Echuca, we’re backing the Rod Symons trained mare Kiata to get the job done in the final leg of the Wangaratta Quaddie. She’s a mare possessed with plenty of early speed and looks to be the leader of the capacity field here in the last leg of the quaddie. She drops 3kgs for this assignment and with Patrick Moloney retaining the ride she’s the one to beat in the get out.

Having gone around in a strong BM70 at Caulfield on January 2nd, the Shane Fliedner trained Queen Guinevere drops back to a country grade BM64. She comes back to a track where she has won in the past over the same distance she faces on Sunday. She maps to get the run of the race behind the leaders and looks the one to beat in the third leg of the quaddie.
