Jason Benbow hospitalised after Sale fall

Jockey Jason Benbow has been taken to hospital following a race fall at Sale.

Benbow fell from Postmistress during a maiden race for three-year-olds on Wednesday.

A Victorian Jockeys’ Association statement said Benbow was taken to the local hospital with a possible lower leg fracture.

Benbow was injured in a trackwork fall at Caulfield in March last year, fracturing a vertabrae which put him on the sidelines for six months.
