Grunt wins the Group 1 Australian Guineas

Mick Price has trained his third Group One Australian Guineas winner as Grunt overpowered Victoria’s best three-year-olds in the $1 million race.

Sent out at $5.50, Grunt chimed in at the 200m and held off Peaceful State ($8.50) with Bring Me Roses ($21) finishing third at Flemington.

Grunt also gave jockey Damien Oliver his third Guineas win.
