Tatler looks to be the best suited maiden here to the 2000m trip. Last time out at Bordertown it rallied home late to finish within a length of the winner despite getting held up in the run. Looms as the best winning chance in this one.
Race 1 tip: Tatler to win at Neds
Race 2 – Maiden Plate (1112m)

Speedy beginner Fabulous Flipper looks set to go forward from the wide gate and take some catching. The horse is by far the most experienced galloper in the field and has the best record to boot. We expect Fabulous Flipper to shake the maiden tag here.
Race 2 tip: Fabulous Flipper to win at Crownbet
Race 3 – Maiden Plate (1362m)

Vanishing Point is one of the more consistent runners in the field and we’re anticipating a good run here. In its last three runs the horse has finished fourth, fourth and third, improving by almost a length with each run. The four-year-old has the ability to take this one out.
Race 3 tip: Vanishing Point to win at Neds
Race 4 – Benchmark 64 (1362m)

Manhattan Melody is third-up and ready to strike now it’s fully fit. At a huge price at Bordertown on December 10 the horse finished second, and we are expecting it to progress on from there and make an impact at Strathalbyn.
Race 4 tip: Manhattan Melody to win at William Hill
Race 5 – Class 2 Handicap (1362m)

Lucapa Diamonds is resuming after a five month break and it has won first-up in the past. The horse has placed at both benchmark 60 and 64 grade, and we think it has the capabilities to win at this level. Expect the horse to be one of the leaders in a race without a lot of speed.
Race 5 tip: Lucapa Diamonds to win at Unibet
Race 6 – Benchmark 60 (2062m)

Svetlana’s Arrow has been in great form recently and will be hard to hold out here. The horse placed at Strathalbyn at a huge price last time out at a similar grade and it will have benefited greatly from that performance.
Svetlana’s Arrow is our best bet of the day at Strathalbyn
Race 6 tip:Svetlana’s Arrow to win at CrownBet
Race 7 – Benchmark 56 (1612m)

Nishiazabu is second-up on Wednesday after its fast-finishing second last time out. The nine-year-old steps up quickly to the mile but a run closer to the speed is expected which should see it factor in the finish.
Race 7 tip:Nishiazabu to win at Crownbet
Race 8 – Benchmark 60 (1212m)

Wylie Ol’ Coyote won well on debut at Naracoorte just over a month ago and we think it can make it two-from-two. The horse was given a nice break to prepare for this race and from barrier two it will have no excuses.
Wylie Ol’ Coyote is our next best bet of the day at Strathalbyn
Race 8 tip: Wylie Ol’ Coyote to win at Sportsbet
