Bjorn Baker’s Fun Fact finds himself in a winnable race in the Queensland Cup. After being narrowly beaten last time out at Rosehill, he will strip fitter and be appreciative of the rise in trip to 2200m. Entente was a Port Macquarie Cup winner on Friday which franked that form. Drawn four, Jimmy Orman will ride the grey positively and lead them a merry dance. He has won at 2200m in the past and we expect him to do it again here. This looks his race.

Gin ‘N Bitters resumes here in a very winnable Class 3 Plate over 1050m. Despite being drawn out wide, Robbie Fradd will go forward and settle outside the leader. She is a winner of three from five, including a win in this grade at the Sunshine Coast, before running fifth at Listed level beating home so very handy Open class sprinters. She was then beaten as favourite when wide throughout and the Steward’s Report says that she was galloped on which answers her below par performance. Unbeaten first up, and three wins at the trip, she should be too good for them.
