Considering cruises to maiden victory at Moe

SHEA Eden-trained four-year-old Considering has broken its maiden in fantastic style at Moe on Friday, streaking away to record a powerful four length win.
The $1.90 favourite at Crownbet had placed in six of its previous seven starts, but the mare finally put it all together, leading the field into the straight before kicking away smartly to deliver the win it had been promising.

Fellow four-year-old Fillie Gris ($1.70 at Sportsbet) ran on strongly from the back of the field to claim second while Brave Maddie stayed on well to round out the placings and return $5.70 at Ladbrokes.
The mare is expected to progress through its grades quickly after recording the elusive win, and jockey Ben Allen said he was pleased with the professionalism the horse displayed.
“She did it very easy,” Allen said.
“We bounced well and would have been happy to take up the lead, but there were a few that were caught out wide that pushed forward so we were able to take a sit.
“Once I got in behind she just dropped the bit and relaxed which played a major part in the way she won today.”
The win was indicative of the talent the horse had displayed prior to Friday’s breakthrough, which included three second placing margins of a length or less.
Two of those occasions the horse lost by a head, highlighting just how close the horse has come to shaking the maiden tag prior to Moe.
Allen believes this is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the Eden-trained mare.
“I think so,” Allen said when asked if there are more wins to come for Considering.

“(The horse) put them away very easy and we hit the front just around the bend and we were in front the whole way up the straight so it was a very gutsy effort.
“She’s got the confidence going forward and she should be able to put a couple together.”
