What Warwick Farm Races
Where Warwick Farm Racecourse – Governor Macquarie Dr, Warwick Farm NSW 2170
When Wednesday, July 19, 2023
First Race 12:50pm AEST

Warwick Farm Racecourse is the destination for metropolitan racing on Wednesday with an ultra-competitive seven-race program lined up. The rail is out +3m the entire circuit, and with hardly any rain on the forecast, we’re expecting the surface to firm into the Good range. The first race is set to get underway at 12:50pm AEST.

Best Bet: Coincide

It’s been 157 days since we’ve seen Coincide face the starter, and he comes out of some elite two-year-old form last preparation. He finished in behind the likes of Don Corleone and Kundalini on January 21 at Randwick, before heading to the one-million-dollar Inglis Millennium on February 11 where he simply never travelled. The Waterhouse & Bott training duo sent the son of Invader to the paddock and elected to geld him prior to his resumption. It looks to have done wonders based on his jump-outs, and with Coincide seemingly the natural leader from barrier one, we expect a bold showing for followers.

Best Bet

Race 1 – #2 Coincide (1)

2yo Gelding | T: Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott | J: Adam Hyeronimus (56kg)

$2.60 with Bet365

Next Best: Secret Revolution

Secret Revolution has put together a consistent campaign, only missing the frame in one of his seven performances. His latest effort at Randwick on July 8 was a tough task chasing home Insurrection in BM78 company but didn’t shirk the task finishing one-length away in third. He comes back in trip to the 1000m this time and with a prominent position from barrier six, Secret Revolution should get the last crack at his opposition to score his third career win.

Next Best

Race 4 – #6 Secret Revolution (6)

3yo Gelding | T: Peter & Paul Snowden | J: Reece Jones (58kg)

$3.60 with Neds

Next Best Again: I Am Lethal

I Am Lethal looks ready to peak third-up on Wednesday afternoon and can hopefully break his long run of outs. His barrier manners have been an issue in both starts this time in, getting back and producing two eye-catching performances at Randwick. He comes back in grade after a terrific barrier trial, suggesting this son of I Am Invincible isn’t far away from finding his best. Although, he must carry the 60.5kg on his back, provided I Am Lethal jumps evenly from stall six, watch for him to be storming down the middle of the course in the final race of the day.

Next Best Again

Race 7 – #1 I Am Lethal (6)

4yo Gelding | T: John O’Shea | J: Tom Sherry (60.5kg)

$4 with PlayUp
