Warwick Farm

Warwick Farm Racecourse is located 30 kilometres south west from the Sydney CBD and is regularly holding mid-week metropolitan events throughout the year based on the shores of the Georges River on the Hume Highway. Warwick Farm is one of four metropolitan race tracks in Sydney and is one of the most in-use tracks in the state.

Warwick Farm Racecourse is located on Governor Macquarie Dr, Warwick Farm NSW 2170 and is approximately a 30 minute drive from Sydney.

Warwick Farm Railway Station is within close walking distance to the track and a free shuttle service is available on days of race meetings to and from the station.

Warwick Farm is deemed a tighted trick with a circumfrence of just 1937m and has a short straight of 326m for runners to finish off.

All races between 1000m-1400m consists off one long run down the side of the track before cornering for home.

The Warwick Farm track often suits on-pace runners due to the way the track is situated, with it being difficult to make up ground from the rear of the field depending on the rail position in meetings.

Warwick Farm race dates

Warwick Farm Racecourse is scheduled to host 23 meetings during the 2022/23 season.

The marquee meetings each year at the track is on the Australia Day public holiday (January 26) and Labor Day public holiday (first Monday in October).

While Warwick Farm race track does not hold as many key race dates as other racecourses in NSW, it is the third metro track behind Randwick and Rosehill in the state.
