Sale racecourse news, tips and profile

Sale Turf Club continues to be a constant fixture on the Victorian provincial racing calendar, with the racecourse playing host to 20+ meetings throughout the year. The injection of prize money to the country circuits has allowed Sale Turf Club to thrive over the years – particularly with the $200,000 Sale Cup (1600m), which brings genuine metropolitan quality racing to the last Sunday of October.

Greenwattle Racecourse isn’t just a venue for race-day, it also allows trainers to send gallopers for barrier trials and jump-outs throughout the year at an affordable price for stakeholders trying to enhance their equine talent.

Sale Turf Club also offers venue hire for parties, functions, and exhibitions, making for a family friendly environment for more than just your average horse racing participant.
