Steparty, a notable dual stakes winner, will be absent from the upcoming Group 3 CS Hayes Stakes (1400m) at Flemington this Saturday.

With an impressive track record of five victories out of seven starts, Stepartry’s most recent performance saw him secure third place in the Group 3 Manfred Stakes (1200m) on a Good 4 track surface towards the end of last month. Trainer Paul Preusker, known for his strategic acumen, is said to prefer steering clear of fast racing surfaces for the time being.
