RESUMING Blue Diamond Stakes runner-up Pariah is the $2.70 favourite at Sportsbet.com.au to win the San Domenico Stakes at Rosehill this Saturday.

The three-year-old colt is the clear favourite in the market, but it has six other rivals under single figures for the group three crown.

The Hayes and Dabernig stable are set to take three runners into the race, headlined by star filly Tulip ($4.80 at Sportsbet.com.au) which is racing for the first time since its fifth placing in April’s Sires’ Produce Stakes.

Madeenaty ($11.00) and Muraahib ($31.00) round out the stable’s chances in the group three race.

The next best runner in the market is the Gerald Ryan-trained Condor Heroes.

The lightly raced three-year-old colt comes into the San Domencio on the back of some decent trial form where it won by over six lengths at the beginning of August before finishing forth two weeks later.

Condor Heroes is the $5.50 second favourite at at Sportsbet.com.au to win Saturday’s feature.

All the money has been for Pariah early however, and Sportsbet representative Christian Jantzen believes the colt is the horse to beat.

He said: “If Pariah is going to go on towards races like the Golden Rose, Caulfield Guineas and even the Everest, you’d expect him to be tough to beat here.”
