Just Fine, a contender for the Group 1 Melbourne Cup (3200m), is poised to make a comeback to competitive racing after delivering commendable performances in two recent trials.
In the words of Gai Waterhouse, who, in collaboration with Adrian Bott, trains the Group 1 Metropolitan (2400m) victor, “He’s going along very nicely.
“He’s had two trials, he’s down to run in about two weeks’ time.
“He’s on track for the Sydney Cup and races like that.
“He’s a very exciting horse.”
