Race 1 – Chandon S Darby Munro Stakes (1200m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1183091_01]

The hat-trick seeking I Am Excited looks poised to continue the winning run here. The David Pfieffer filly won the Fireball Stakes in strong fashion on March 10 and has been rested since. I Am Excited looks primed for this one.

Race 1 tip: I Am Excited to win ($3.50 at Neds)

Race 2 – Epona Stakes (1900m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1183091_02]

The Pinnacle is yet to miss a placing across three runs this preparation and it will be right in the mix once again. In those three runs the horse has missed out by less than a combined length, and on Saturday the mare will carry less weight than it had for that trio of starts.

Race 2 tip: The Pinnacle to win ($7.50 at William Hill)

Race 3 – Manion (2400m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1183091_03]

Archie Alexander-trained galloper Lord Fandango will be hard to beat here. The horse has notable victories at city and country level and is potentially en route to a crack at the Sydney Cup. This appears within its wheelhouse.

Race 3 tip: Lord Fandango to win ($4.60 at Sportsbet)

Race 4 – Ranvet Stakes (2000m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1183091_04]

Gailo Chop is one of the better bets of the day. The Weir runner has been in stellar form this preparation and was only half a length off being undefeated across three runs this preparation. This race presents as the perfect opportunity to atone for that second placing.

Race 4 tip: Gailo Chop to win ($1.85 at Sportsbet)

Race 5 – George Ryder Stakes (1500m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1183091_05]

Winx wins this, and by a long way. The champion mare’s resumption was spectacular and only five runners are prepared to take her on here. Kementari looms as the safest exacta option.

Race 5 tip: Winx to win ($1.10 at William Hill)

Race 6 – Rosehill Guineas (2000m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1183091_06]

Ace High was far from disgraced in the Randwick Guineas on March 10 and presents well here. The horse doesn’t enjoy a wet track but the form leading into this one cannot be denied. We’re backing Ace High in.

Race 6 tip: Ace High to win ($4.60 at Neds)

Race 7 – Golden Slipper (1200m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1183091_07]

Sunlight is winning this. We declared that the horse would be the one to beat in the Slipper following a brilliant Magic Millions 2YO Classic win, and the strong form since hasn’t deterred us. Back the gun filly in.

Race 7 tip: Sunlight to win ($4.40 at Crownbet)

Race 8 – Galaxy (1100m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1183091_08]

If any horse loves a wet-track, it’s Jungle Edge. The horse returned in great fashion as a massive outsider in the Challenge Stakes and it travels to Sydney as a strong hope in this one. We’re backing the old boy in.

Race 8 tip: Jungle Edge to win ($4.20 at Neds)

Race 9 – Open Stakes (1200m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1183091_09]

Sugar Bella continues to silence the doubters but again it will jump at a generous price. Don’t ask questions as to why a horse searching for a fifth-straight win and a seventh career success from eight attempts is at this price, just get on.

Race 9 tip: Sugar Bella to win ($3.20 at Neds)
