Race 1 – Open Handicap (1200m)

Nasaayim was impressive last-start following a dominant win at Ballarat and we believe the Hayes, Hayes and Dabernig runner is well placed to deliver here at the third time of asking. The horse gets a great gate and will be hard to beat.

Race 1 tip: Nasaayim to win ($2.40 at William Hill)

Race 2 – Maiden Plate (1600m)

Sopressa has been around the mark across nearly all of its five race starts. Only once across that quintet of runs has the horse missed a placing and the horse should be fitter from its resuming run at Terang on January 31.

Race 2 tip: Sopressa to win ($4 at Neds)

Race 3 – Benchmark 78 (1600m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1181822_03]

Sohool drops in grade following an ordinary run in an open handicap at Caulfield on January 27. The horse prior to that run had registered two-straight victories and we think it can recapture its best here.

Race 3 tip: Sohool to win ($6.50 at Sportsbet)

Race 4 – Benchmark 78 (1600m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1181822_04]

The ultra-consistent Dreams Of Paris will be highly competitive here. In its last four races the horse has placed three times and registered a win. This is a step-up in class here but the form cannot be denied.

Race 4 tip: Dreams Of Paris to win ($7.50 at Sportsbet)

Race 5 – Benchmark 70 (1600m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1181822_05]

Pamela will spear out from gate one and attempt to win this one from the front. The horse was way too good on February 3 at Kyneton, and while this is a jump in grade it was far too good and has progressive quality.

Race 5 tip: Pamela to win ($6.50 at Neds)

Race 6 – Benchmark 70 (2430m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1181822_06]

Aurora Rose drops back in grade following a horrible showing at the Valley, but we’re looking past that run. In five races before that the Northern Meteor mare had won three times and placed second twice, so we’re happy to overlook the Valley failure.

Race 6 tip: Aurora Rose to win ($8.50 at William Hill)

Race 7 – Benchmark 64 (1200m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1181822_07]

Sirius Suspect has shown great promise across its two career starts and we believe it can win for the second time at the third attempt. The horse will go forward and give them something to catch similar to its Kyneton breakthrough.

Race 7 tip: Sirius Suspect to win ($4.40 at Crownbet)

Race 8 – Benchmark 64 (1440m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1181822_08]

Aaron Purcell-trained Kaching has a second-up win in the past and we think it recapture its best. First-up the horse only missed out by three parts of a length at Sandown at a higher grading. We’re backing it in here.

Race 8 tip: Kaching to win ($4 at Ladbrokes)
