The Listed Black Heart Bart Stakes will headline a nine-race card at Belmont Park Racecourse this Saturday afternoon. The track is expected to stay at the current Good 4 rating for the whole program, as there is fine weather forecast for Friday and Saturday. The rail will be in the +6m position for the entire circuit, with the opening race set to jump at 12:19pm AWST.

Black Heart Bart Stakes Tip – Rokanori

Off the back of two average performances on wet tracks this preparation, we are getting a very nice price about the Grant & Alana Williams-trained Rokanori in Saturday’s feature. The key for this five-year-old gelding will be the dry track, as all of his five wins have come on Good surfaces. The son of Awesome Rock will be third-up, where he remains undefeated (2:2-0-0). With William Pike on board from barrier four, we are more than happy to launch into Rokanori at +700 with online bookmakers.

Best Bet at Belmont – Ruler Rocket

Ruler Rocket has let the punters down in both of his runs this preparation; however, the Bruce Watkins-trained galloper it yet to miss the placings from his seven career starts. This race appears to be much weaker than his previous two contests, and if he can find his peak, we expect him to find the winner’s circle once again. Troy Turner has ridden this son of Universal Ruler at all his seven starts and jumps on again. Starting from a very nice barrier (2), this could be Ruler Rocket’s last chance for many of his followers.

Next Best at Belmont – Fine Touch

The Ross Price-trained Fine Touch was one of the most impressive winners on the Belmont Park program on September 6, where she led from barrier to post and gave nothing else a chance. William Pike was in the saddle for that dominant win, and with him choosing to retain the ride, we expect the four-year-old mare to be ridden on speed again. If Pike can cross the field from barrier 10 and find the lead, this daughter of Maschino should prove too good again.

Next Best

Race 7 – Silk #12 Fine Touch (10)

4yo Mare | T: Ross Price | J: William Pike (54kg)

Best Value at Belmont – Soldanelle

Ex-European galloper Soldanelle has been working her way up to a win since making her Australian debut in August three starts back. The four-year-old mare was very good last start over 2200m at this track, where she looked the winner with 200m to go but tired late to finish a length back in third. From barrier 12, Steven Parnham should push forward and settle in the first four, and with a similar performance to last start, Soldanelle should break through for her first win on Aussie soil.

Best Value

Race 6 – Silk #12 Soldanelle (12)

5yo Mare | T: Stefan Vahala | J: Steven Parnham (54kg)
