Wyong Race Club is scheduled to host an eight-part card on Thursday, and HorseBetting.com.au brings you the best bets, quaddie selections and odds comparison for the midweek NSW meeting. The track is rated a Soft 5, the rail is set to 3m for the entire circuit, and the action is scheduled to get underway at 11:55am AEST.
Wyong Best Bet: Miss Checkoni
The Nick Mitchell-trained Miss Checkoni was narrowly beaten over this track and distance on debut on June 3, but we expect the three-year-old Nicconi filly to go one better on Thursday. She produced the best sectionals in the race and chased hard in the home straight to go down by just under a length. Aaron Bullock hops on board for this run, and from barrier nine we expect Miss Checkoni to be in the second half of the field upon settling. In the small field, all she needs to do is replicate her debut performance to break her maiden here at start two.

Next Best at Wyong: Volterra
Chris Waller and Brenton Avdulla will be looking to go one better this time with Volterra, who ran second at Warwick Farm on June 2. The three-year-old son of I Am invincible led the field up entering the home turn and went down by just over a length to a smart one, but he managed to put five lengths on his closest rival back in third. From barrier eight on Thursday, we expect Avdulla to push Volterra forward. If he gets a quiet time of it out in front, he should be too speedy for this field over the 1350m.
Race 4 – Volterra (#6)[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1372151_04]
Wyong Value Bet: Yesmeena
Kris Lees saddles up his three-year-old filly Yesmeena, who broke her maiden at Eagle Farm on May 5 in impressive style. After four runner-up efforts in her first nine starts, she managed to run on strongly from the rear of the field to hold off her rivals late in maiden company. From the wide barrier (8), we expect Brenton Avdulla to look for cover one off the fence. Fresh from a seven week let-up, Yesmeena should be hard to hold out in the second leg of the quaddie.
