Win & place-bet multis for Wednesday racing at Sandown & Randwick

Sandown racesEvery punter loves a good multi-bet, especially on the horse racing, and this Wednesday at Sandown and Warwick Farm we have two multi-bets that cater to both win and place punters.

Win multi’s can reward punters with massive payouts, but obviously they carry more risk. With Sportsbet.com.au’s ‘Cash Out’ option, this gives bettors a chance to cut and run with their winnings before risking it all on the last leg.

We prefer to let it ride at Horsebetting.com.au so we have offered a place multi-bet which should give us a sight at cashing as well. Place betting isn’t a guaranteed method to making money, but there is plenty of place value with bookmakers and we have targeted some nice horses this Wednesday.

Take any fixed odds horse racing bet and if your horse loses on a protest, Sportsbet will pay you the winning dividend!

Wednesday racing win multi-bet

Warwick Farm – Race 5: (10) Redzel at $3.50

The Peter and Paul Snowden-trained gelding was a winner on debut where it defeated subsequent Group 1 winner Japonisme by three lengths. It has been disappointing in tough races since, but this is much easier and it returns to Warwick Farm where its maiden win came. A top resuming run should be on the cards and it has been well backed.

Sandown – Race 2: (5) Black Diamond Girl at $2.50

Won by 4.5 lengths on debut over 1112 metres in a very quick time of 1.3.81. The second favourite in the race, Equietto, ran over a shorter distance in 1.5.18 which bodes very well for this. The Luke Oliver-trained filly will likely find the lead again from barrier two and it will be tough to catch. It has international breeding and will likely end up contesting 1400-1600 metre races, but this looks an ideal target at this stage.

Sandown – Race 4: (11) Longkissgoodnight at $2.65

Hawkes-trained runner which broke maidens in great fashion last start. The four-year-old by O’Reilly trounced rivals by four lengths at Ballarat after a couple of close up placings to begin its career. This isn’t an easy field, but with Dwayne Dunn in the saddle at a good weight, it should prove tough to beat.

Wednesday horse racing place multi-bet

Warwick Farm – Race 1 (1) Credible Witness at $1.44

John Sargent lines up Credible Witness which has average form on face value, but it ran only 2.7 lengths behind Dalradian on debut and the Inglis Nursery was too tough last start. The two-year-old by Star Witness has trialled well leading into this and it faces a significant drop in class. With the Godolphin runner being scratched earlier this week, that leaves this race open for Credible Witness to dominate.

Warwick Farm – Race 3 (3) Southern Legend at $3.25

Both career runs have come at Canterbury and both have been won by top liners. The Les Bridge-trained gelding ran fourth behind Hellbent on debut which has gone on to win a major race at Flemington. Its second start was a fifth behind Japonisme which has since two multiple Group 1’s. Both runs came on rain-affected ground and the dry track should suit nicely for this. Punters are getting a very good place price.

Warwick Farm – Race 6 (9) Miss Royale at $1.91

Chris Waller runner which would usually be paying $1.91 to win, let alone for the place. The four-year-old mare has been well backed in all five career starts and it hasn’t finished worse than third in its career. Drawing barrier 13 isn’t ideal, but expect it to settle back and produce for one final shot at them down the straight.

Sandown – Race 8 (9) He’s Our Rokki at $2.00

Three-year-old which was good enough to run at group level three times last campaign. The former New Zealand-trained runner finished sixth in the Group 2 Stutt Stakes at Moonee Valley and fourth in the Group 3 Carbine Club. It has won and placed when fresh up and this distance should be ideal as its only win came over 1206 metres. Class runner of the field which should be running on late.
