When Sunday, June 27, 2021
First Race 12:15pm AEST

Werribee Racing Club is scheduled to host an eight race card on Sunday afternoon, and HorseBetting’s Victorian form analyst presents his best bets, odds comparison and quaddie numbers for the meeting set to get underway at 12:15pm AEST. The track is rated a Soft 6 with the rail in the true position throughout.

Werribee Best Bet: Sign Seal Deliver

In the opening leg of the quaddie, the Matt Cumani-trained Sign Seal Deliver comes to Werribee after competing in tougher races at metropolitan level. Two runs back he was the best of the beaten brigade behind Heart of Puissance and then finished midfield at Sandown at his last start on June 12. He steps up to 2600m for the first time in his career and it should suit him perfectly as he does not necessarily possess a turn of foot, but he will stay all day. If he gets his own way out in front he will certainly takes some running down as he is more than capable of handling a wet track with two wins to his name.

Best Bet Sign Seal Deliver (#2) $3.70 with Sportsbet

Next Best at Werribee: Vilanculos

We were confident on Vilanculos’ chances at Geelong last week, but she was ultimately scratched and saved for another day. The day is Sunday, and the Danny O’Brien-trained three-year-old Crowded House filly looks perfectly placed first up from a spell. She was last seen up on speed in the VRC Derby before falling back through the field dramatically during the spring and comes to Werribee fresh off a seven-month spell. From barrier 10, expect Fred Kersley to take the filly towards the lead where she can settle just outside the leader. As long as she is screwed down for this first-up run she should simply be winning.

Next Best Vilanculos (#13) $2.05 with Sportsbet

Werribee Value Bet: Polina

Ciaron Maher and David Eustace sends their resuming three-year-old filly Polina to Werribee in a bid to build on her impressive start to her career. Having not finished outside of the top three in her five career starts to date, we know she will be there or thereabouts when the whips are cracking. Regular jockey Ben Allen hops back on board the filly and from barrier four we expect the filly to settle just off the speed, where she can get a tail in to the race with cover and with a sharp turn of foot, she should be giving this race a shake.

Value Bet Polina (#8) $8.50 with Sportsbet
