HorseBetting’s NSW racing analyst brings you his best bets and quaddie numbers for the seven-race metropolitan card at Warwick Farm on the last day of June. The track is currently rated a Soft 7, the rail is out 3m for the entire course, and the first race is scheduled to jump at 12:50pm AEST.

Warwick Farm Best Bet: Promise Of Success

It was a case of ‘they knew’ in the opener at Warwick Farm on June 14th with this European import in her Australian debut, with the John O’Shea-trained mare being backed from $6 into $2.35 and saluting by two lengths. That win came on a Heavy 8 track under Hugh Bowman as the daughter of Dansili came from last to win by well over 1200m with 56.5kg on her back. The classy mare stays at 1200m and gets Tommy Berry in the saddle with 1.5kg off her first win. The rails draw is the only knock, but there is enough speed in the race to stretch them out a bit and let the runs come.

Best BetRace 7 – Promise Of Success (#16) $2.70 with Sportsbet

Next Best at Warwick Farm: Derbari

Wide-open betting races are the order of the afternoon at Warwick Farm on Wednesday, and while this is a tricky race with six horses listed under $8, we are happy to side with one of the equal favourites in Derbari. The Joe Pride-trained son of Dundeel finished third to Kobe Rocks at this track and distance a little over a fortnight ago, and while he stays in the same grade, he loses 3kg thanks to Tyler Schiller’s apprentice allowance. The four-year-old gelding has very good wet-track form, which he will need, and from barrier seven he should get a lovely run just off what looks to be a pretty solid pace. He can win this.

Next BestRace 5 – Derbari (#8) $5.50 with Sportsbet

Warwick Farm Value Bet: Yesmeena

We landed the prize with this three-year-old filly when she broke her maiden at Eagle Farm on May 5th, so we are going back to the well here. Yesmeena should have won on April 20th at Scone but missed out on the run in the straight, before winning nicely on a Soft 5 at her next start, so she should handle the wet conditions. Her first-up run this time in saw the Not A Single Doubt filly finish fourth to Osamu and Beauchamp, and that handy form was reflected in a good trial run behind Odeum at the Gold Coast on May 31st. Drawn in barrier five for Brenton Avdulla, we are confident she can give this a real shake from an each-way perspective.

Best ValueRace 3 – Yesmeena (#12) $27 with Sportsbet
