Racing heads to Warracknabeal on Monday afternoon where a nine-race card is scheduled and HorseBetting’s Victorian horse racing form analyst presents his best bets, top odds and free quaddie selections. The meeting is set to be run on a Soft 5 with the rail in the true position for the meeting getting underway at 12:25pm AEST.

Warracknabeal Best Bet: Ripasso

The Matt Cumani-trained Ripasso comes to Warracknabeal following a second-placed finish on debut on the Ballarat Synthetic on June 15 and will be out to repay the punters who launched into him pre-race. Having been $7 into $3.50 prior to the jump, he simply got too far out of his ground, but managed to run on strongly to claim second place from the rear of the field. From barrier eight on Monday, we expect apprentice Tatum Bull to try and find the three-year-old son of Fiorente some cover in midfield, where she can then time his run perfectly and have him hitting the line strongly and ultimately prove too hard to hold out

Warracknabeal Best BetRace 4 – Ripasso (#6) $2.60 with Sportsbet

Warracknabeal Next Best Bet: The Wrangler

In the final race of the day, the Jarrod Robinson-trained The Wrangler is set to appreciate the step up to 1600m deep into a campaign as it is a distance, he has tasted success at before. With three of his four wins coming on Soft ground, he is sure to appreciate the track with the sting out of it and despite drawing barrier 17, we expect him to go forward and ultimately prove too hard to catch. Apprentice Mikela Lawerence hops on board for the first time and with her 3kg claim expect her to dictate terms and kick clear at the top of the home straight to bring up a deserved win after being there or thereabouts in recent times.

Warracknabeal Next BestRace 9 – The Wrangler (#3) $5.00 with Sportsbet

Warracknabeal Best Value Bet: Blak Heart

Austy and Harry Coffey are set to combine with Blak Hart who is coming off a last start third during the Swan Hill racing carnival and comes to Warracknabeal looking for a deserved maiden win. The three-year-old son of Kuroshio has two minor placings to his name from three starts, including finishing three lengths off the smart All Of Brighton on debut back in January. With this being his second-up run this campaign he should be fitter for it off his last start third and from barrier six, we expect Harry Coffey to lob him in the first four and with a bit of luck he should be hitting the line strongly and breaking his maiden.

Warracknabeal Best Value BetRace 3 – Blak Heart (#2) $13.00 with Sportsbet
