Turn Me Loose ready for Australia again

Turn Me Loose has confirmed his latest trip to Australia with s stylish barrier trial win at Avondale.

Trained by Murray Baker and Andrew Forsman, Turn Me Loose is expected to leave New Zealand in the next week to try to add to his Group One wins in last season’s Emirates Stakes and Futurity Stakes.

“If he doesn’t go over on Sunday he’ll go the following week,” Baker told NZ Racing Desk.

“He won his trial well and he broke a minute on a heavy track.

“He takes a bit to get fit as he’s still a stallion and he’s a big horse. He can jump out at Flemington when he gets there. They have jump-outs every week.”

Baker said Turn Me Loose’s spring program had yet to be finalised but the Manikato Stakes (1200m) at Moonee Valley on October 21 was a likely target.
