Testatime has placed in its last four runs and looks well placed to deliver a quality run. The horse returns to a distance that it has had great success at in the past and we think it can do the business in a small field to open the card.

Oosthuizen has never placed second-up in the past but the strength of the resuming win makes us think it can back up that victory. The horse has a great record of two wins and a pair of placings from six runs and we’re backing it to deliver.

Race 3 – Maiden Handicap (1000m)

Reverberating take the bottom weight into this race and after the claim it will be incredibly hard to catch. From barrier two it will be spearing out towards the lead and it will take an out of the ordinary run to overcome our selection.

Race 4 – Maiden (1200m)

A claim will greatly help Foxy Feline in this contest. This preparation the horse has placed in back-to-back events before going to Cairns and finishing fourth. We like what the Foxwedge filly brings to the table here and we think it will breakthrough at the seventh time of asking.

Race 5 – Class 6 (1200m)

Dazzling Pride is a runner that has a decent first-up record. Across five runs last campaign the horse won three times and did not miss a placing. This is probably shy of Dazzling Pride’s ideal distance but it has first-up runs on the board.

Race 6 – Open Handicap (1300m)

Perfect Knowledge is going after its third-straight win on Tuesday. Both its wins have been at this track and at open level. We’re backing Perfect Knowledge to complete the hat-trick.

Race 7 – Benchmark 60 (1200m)

Jumbo Rumbo drops in class here and will be hard to hold out from a good draw. The horse had a dominant win at BM55 level and perhaps jumped too quickly to the 70 level following that success. This looms as a great bounce-back event.
