Terravista wins Lightning Stakes

Terravista has returned to winning form in the Lightning Stakes at Flemington after a drama-packed prelude to the Group One sprint when three horses including The Quarterback had to be scratched at the barriers.

The Joe Pride-trained Terravista was ridden on Saturday by Corey Brown who returned to Australia last month after several years in Singapore.

He brought last year’s runner-up Terravista with a late run to beat Spieth with three-year-old Star Turn third and favourite Flyng Artie unlucky after getting held up for a run.
