Racing in Victoria heads to Terang on Tuesday afternoon for an eight-race card kicking off at 1:30pm AEDT. Best Bet at Terang – Deeling Aces
Symon Wilde’s Deeling Aces was a smart debut winner at Bendigo on December 5, producing a strong finish to blouse her rivals over 1400m. She now moves into BM58 company, while the step up to 1600m will only suit this bay mare. Jordan Childs can have her settled a touch closer from barrier four, and with a similar turn of foot to last time, Deeling Aces should remain undefeated.

Next Best at Terang – Rebellious Hope
Rebellious Hope was rolled as an odds-on favourite at Mornington on November 14, but she can bounce back here. The Toronado filly was pressured at the top of the straight and, despite sticking on gamely, couldn’t go with the eventual winner. This looks to be a weak maiden, and if Dean Yendall can find the front from barrier nine, Rebellious Hope should be too slick for her rivals.

Best Value at Terang – Sidereal
Sidereal was often competitive, albeit without winning too often, during his 18 starts in New South Wales. During his winter campaign, he chased home the likes of Satness and Verbek, who are much stronger opposition than what he faces at Terang. He does need to lug 62kg on his Victorian debut, but if Christine Puls can have him bounding along out in front, Sidereal might just prove too hard to run down first-up.
