On The Prowl in race seven is our best bet of the day. This four-year-old mare by Contributer is dropping back from Stakes company last start and the step up to 1600m looks ideal. This mare handles heavy going, having run ten times in those conditions for 2 wins and six placings. Trainer Ralph Manning has a good record on the track and with claiming jockey Tayla Mitchell doing the riding, we’re confident she can go close to getting another win on the board in this event.

Her best runs have come on a heavysurface and from the barrier of four we expect her to jump out well and be handy before lifting strongly in the straight for jockey jockey Jessica Allen who is claiming 4kg.
