First Race 1:07pm AEST

HorseBetting’s Queensland form analyst has previewed the eight race card at the Sunshine Coast on Sunday afternoon and brings you is best bets, value bet and quaddie numbers. The track is rated a Soft 5 and the rail is out 5m for the entire course. The first of eight is set to jump at 1:07pm AEST.

Sunshine Coast Best Bet – Lucifer’s Loot

As they saying goes, ‘if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it’, so that’s the approach we have taken here when we side with Lucifer’s Loot who looks to make it back-to-back wins. The Natalie McCall-trained gelding will again be partnered by Queensland’s in-form hoop, James Orman, and has drawn perfectly in barrier one which should see him use his gate speed to lead this Class 2 field over 1000m. The son of Rich Enuff carried 59kg last start as he won by two lengths, so the same weight should not be an issue again on Sunday. He has a great record at this track and trip and with the right run, he should add to his tally here.

Best BetRace 6 – Lucifer’s Loot (#1) $2.40 with Sportsbet

Next Best Bet – Mishani Sniper

Les Ross and Chris Caserta combine in the second race of the day with three-year-old gelding, Mishani Sniper. The son of Your Song won well on debut albeit by a small margin, defeating subsequent metropolitan winner, Frosty Mango. Les Ross’ gelding then went to Saturday metropolitan grade at Eagle Farm and chased hard into second behind Legal Esprit, beating home The Kewess, Regal Conqueror and Gemelon Bolt who all line up here again. Mishani Sniper will likely get back again from barrier eight, and with a bit of speed on paper, this gelding can be getting home strongly out wide on the big Sunshine Coast track. He will be doing his best work late.

Next BestRace 2 – Mishani Sniper (#3) $4.80 with Sportsbet

Next Best Again For Sunshine Coast – Predictable Miss

Kris Lees and Andrew Mallyon partner Predictable Miss in the opening race of the day, with the mare finding a very winnable race. The mare by Iffraaj has finished second in her last two starts at Eagle Farm behind in-from mare, Champagne Aunty, on both occasions. Predictable Miss chased hard last time out over 1825m and now drops back in trip ever-so slightly to 1800m and strikes a much easier race which will suit. Mallyon will have to steer this gelding from one of the outside alleys (7) which will allow him to get the mare into a comfortable spot and be charging home late out after the leaders.

Next Best AgainRace 1 – Predictable Miss (#4) $3.80 with Sportsbet
