Sunshine Coast Races 20th December Horse Betting Preview
We’ll be back at the Sunshine Coast on Sunday afternoon for nine races. The track is rated a Heavy 8 and it’ll be the second meeting there in three days, so hopefully it holds up alright and plays fairly. The rail will be out +9m for the entire course.
Race 1 jumps at 12:35pm.
It’ll be a long wait until the last race for out best of the day, but it should be worth it. Gary Duncan and young gun Sheriden Tomlinson combine with last start maiden winner, Makedon. The four-year-old son of Real Saga was well backed a fortnight ago and justified the market’s expectations, winning by four lengths. He finds himself back to 1400m which is some query, but on the Heavy track, it’ll feel like a mile to him, so he should be fit enough for the task. He’s never been out of the placings in three wet track starts, and we expect this to be no different.
