That Matt Laurie-trained Tuscan Leather was an impressive winner on debut at Benalla on February 19 in an all the way victory. When challenged with 200m he responded under riding from Billy Egan to kick clear and score by two lengths to show there is plenty of improvement to come from the Toronado gelding. With Noel Callow hoping on board for his second start the speed map has it being a carbon copy of his debut win. He will make sure this is a genuinely run 1100m sprint and be too fast for his rivals to catch.

In the second leg of the Stony Creek quaddie we are with the Logan McGill trained Von Mystic who has ran into the minor money four times from five runs this campaign. From the wide barrier expect Campbell Rawiller to settle Von Mystic towards the rear of the field and be too strong for them late over the concluding stages. The slight query is the Von Costa De Hero gelding has not won in over two years, but we are with him on Sunday to break his run of outs.
