Race 1 – Maiden (1000m)

First-starter Serial will need some luck from a wider gate but we think it can measure up. The Sepoy runners have been quality as of late and the booking of Damien Lane is another big tick.

Race 1 tip: Serial to win at William Hill

Race 2 – Maiden Plate (1600m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1183930_02]

Queen Leonora has placed in back-to-back events to open its career and we think it can go one better here. The horse has drawn a great gate and will be a major player in a winnable race.

Race 2 tip: Queen Leonora to win at Neds

Race 3 – Maiden (1100m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1183930_03]

Faith In Hand has placed in fourth of its eight race starts and looms as a huge chance in this event. The Waller runner is one of only three runners in this race to have placed before and is easily the best performed of the nine horse field.

Race 3 tip: Faith In Hand to win at Sportsbet

Race 4 – Class 1 Handicap (1100m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1183930_04]

Golden Key should be going back-to-back after breaking the maiden last start. That win was a long time coming after back-to-back second placings and the five length breakthrough was enough to suggest to us this horse could be a must-follow gelding from the Ellerton and Zahra camp.

Race 4 tip: Golden Key to win at Sportsbet

Race 5 – Benchmark 58 (1200m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1183930_05]

Bon For Glory looks overdue for a win after a string of game performances. This preparation the horse has finished outside the first-four just one and has been within a length of the winner on two occasions.

Race 5 tip: Bon For Glory to win at William Hill

Race 6 – Benchmark 78 (1000m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1183930_06]

Sir Donald is a first-up beast that can get the job done here. The resuming gelding has two wins and a placing across four runs. From barrier two it should be right in the mix.

Race 6 tip: Sir Donald to win at Neds

Race 7 – Benchmark 64 (2000m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1183930_07]

Here Comes Lenni has missed the placings just once in its six race career, including a BM64 contest last-start where it finished second. We’re thinking the Busuttin and Young runner can deliver yet another strong run.

Race 7 tip: Here Comes Lenni to win at Ladbrokes

Race 8 – Benchmark 70 (1400m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1183930_08]

A short let-up will benefit Kaching. The horse has not raced since a last-start win on March 1 at Pakenham, and despite jumping in weight it will be right in finish.

Race 8 tip: Kaching to win at Crownbet
